By June 2018, the total capacity of major PC devices worldwide was approximately 5.465 million tons.

Chinas total production capacity is 945,000 tons, accounting for 17.3% of the worlds total, ranking first; the total US production capacity is 920,000 tons, accounting for 16.8% of the world, ranking second;

South Korea and Germany are ranked 3rd and 4th respectively, accounting for 10.9% and 8.9% of the world.

Annual production capacity of production facilities in mainland China: Covestro 400,000 tons, 150,000 tons of Teijin, 100,000 tons of Shanghai Lingyou, 100,000 tons of Dafeng Chemical, 65,000 tons of Luxi Chemical, 60,000 tons of Beijing Mitsubishi, Wanhua 70,000 tons.

The global PC production capacity is still mainly concentrated in the three major manufacturers of Covestro, SABIC and Mitsubishi Group, with a total capacity of about 3.55 million tons, accounting for 65% of the global total capacity.

Global PC production capacity is still growing, and capacity growth is still mainly concentrated in Asia.

It is expected that by 2021, global PC production capacity will exceed 7.4 million tons, and the compound production growth rate will reach 5.1%.
